What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?

You must be at least 21 years old to rent cars or SUVs. To rent a large passenger van, renters must be 25 years old.

What do I need to rent a vehicle?

A valid driver’s license and a major credit card in the renter’s name are required to rent any vehicle from Executive Car Rentals.

Is there cargo space available?

Yes. Our 12-passenger vans can be configured to seat just 8 or 10 passengers, providing extra cargo space for road trips, luggage, ski gear, and more.

How does your pickup process differ from traditional airport rentals?

We offer a VIP Curbside Service at YVR. Instead of taking a shuttle to a remote lot or standing in long terminal lines, we meet you directly at the arrivals curb with your vehicle ready to go. We also provide direct delivery to hotels and private residences in Vancouver and Whistler.

Do you offer vehicles for large groups?

Are your vehicles equipped for mountain driving and snow?

Absolutely. Safety is our priority for trips to Whistler or the Rockies. Our SUVs and vans feature All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4WD and come equipped with snow tires, which are a legal requirement for BC mountain highways during winter months.

What documents do I need to provide to secure a booking?

To confirm your reservation, we require a copy of the driver’s licenses for all intended drivers and a completed Credit Card Authorization Form. For international visitors, we accept valid licenses from your home country.

Can I add multiple drivers to my rental?

Yes, you can add additional drivers to your agreement. We simply need their driver’s license information prior to or at the time of rental.

Is insurance included in the price?

Our quotes can be customized to include various Protections & Coverages, such as a Liability Damage Waiver (LDW) and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with different deductible options to fit your needs.

Cancellation Policy

Standard bookings canceled 48+ hours before pickup are eligible for a full refund. Peak-period bookings require 72+ hours’ notice for a full refund. Late cancellations may be charged 50% to 100% of the booking total. No-shows and early returns are non-refundable.
